A Peek Inside Penally House

If you've been watching Channel 4's Renovation Nation, you'll already know what the inside walls of Penally House look like. However for those not in the know, get ready to be wow-ed by a beautiful and pattern-tastic interior.

Penally House is the home of interior designer Anouska Lancaster and her husband Greig and is perfectly located on the coast in Cornwall. Built by William Sloggatt in 1836 it was in need of a bit of TLC when Anouska and Greig got their hands on it and they set about transforming the house into their dream home; a journey documented by Channel 4.

Anouska's vision for the kitchen was to inject colour and personality whilst also being sympathetic to the era in which the house was built. She paired our Onism First Light Pink wallpaper with a reclaimed fireplace and finished off the room with inky blue cabinetry and cushions made from our Onism First Light Pink Linen and Onism Moss Green Linen to soften the space.

Moving through to the Day Room, Anouska stuck to her theme of mixing old with new, giving the original panelling a fresh update with a lick of pink and green paint and continuing the floral wallpaper theme, this time using Onism Moss Green wallpaper to perfectly complement the period features.

Finishing touches include ornate frames with a mix of vintage and modern artwork and trinkets found in antique shops.

The rest of the house looks to be equally as pattern-tastic and colourful, we've even spied an antique sofa being given a new lease of life with some Onism First Light Pink velvet fabric. We can't wait to see where it might end up and what else is in store for Penally House!
